FIGHTING THE POLYCRISIS

From May 17 to 20, 2026, we will bring together the youth delegations of the G7 countries in Paris.
As ambassadors of future generations, they will prepare recommendations to the G7 Leaders, prior to the G7 Summit in Evian.
In this context of growing and accelerating uncertainty, the Y7 aims at interconnected solutions to fight the polycris.
The 2026 Y7 Delegates will address geopolitical upheals, environmental crises, technological disruptions, and economic/demographic imbalences that amplify eachother.

Studying the fragmentation of the multilateral system and the multiplication of international conflicts.

Anticipate the economic and social risks and opportunities arising from the accelerating AI revolution.

For the third time since inception, the Open Diplomacy Institute organizes and chairs the Y7 Summit in France, ahead of the G7 Summit to be held mid-June in Evian. The 2026 Y7 Summit will focus on Fighting the Polycrisis.
Founded in 2010 by Thomas Friang, the Open Diplomacy Institute is an independent think-tank working solutions to address the polycrises and craft leaders to take up this historical challenge.
